“Back To Hogwarts Day”

September 1st is one of the biggest days in the Wizarding World calendar, this is how we celebrated it at King’s Cross Station, London using a little bit of tech and a touch of magic

THE CHALLENGE

To create a remarkable fan experience on a day that is already recognised as one of the most magical days ever.

THE IDEA

We’ll bring one of the most iconic characters in the series, the Sorting Hat, to life using a bit of tech and a touch of magic .

THE HONEY

Working alongside Wizarding World and our agency partner, Allied Global Marketing, we created a magical experience that not only celebrated the first day back to Hogwarts School but also pre-promoted the soon to be released Wizarding World sorting app where fans can get sorted in to their respective houses and also engage with a number of different competitions, quizzes and content.

In production, we designed and produced a fan engagement area that replicated the sorting experience via a replica of the sorting hat which floated in the middle of the space, each house was represented through our bespoke build and we had our team on site to educate and inform the thousands of fans on site about the new app.

+BUZZ

Through the production of unique QR codes printed and handed out to fans, they were able to scan and pre-register their interest for the new app which ultimately drove an increase in awareness and downloads.
